The Give It A Shot program is the first step to membership.  It gives prospective members an opportunity to see if they like the team and the sport without obligation.  It also meets the team's requirement that all members complete a firearms safety program.

The program ends with participants applying what they have learned at the trap range.  The first puff of smoke athletes see from a broken target is enough to get them hooked!

What to Wear

What to Bring

The discussion portion of Give It a Shot is held in the shade while the shooting portion is held in the sun.

Athletes will learn the principles of firearms safety, how to safely handle and shoot a shotgun, and the basic rules of trap shooting.

The learning environment is designed to be casual and safe so athletes are encouraged to ask questions and find the experience an enjoyable one.

A parent or guardian must attend with their athlete.
